Pete glad to see Jax coming along nicely! And I agree it is amazing what good dog food can do.

Yeah he is a good looking pup. I found out about impact on young dogs joints when I started my Toller in Agility classes ~11 years ago. They don't want them to jump high either for the same reasons until they are 1-1.5 yrs. old.

Hey easy now LOL!! Yes nice shots Cody. Hard to believe the Blue Angles are using 18's. I'll be spending 15 days in SD come Nov. with 3 retired AF pilots and there is always some competition between all the branches but in good fun. Spent enough time on 2 birdfarms over the years watching Hornets launch and land but still enjoy watching them. This spring caught the BA in Wi. and managed to get the best seat in the house by going to a bluff over looking the airport. Not sure I would go to see 22's though :p

I agree, 18's win over almost everything! No matter how old the design is. But the AF was supposed to put on a 22 demonstration at the show that I wanted to see. Next time I guess.

When I get back to my computer I'll find one of my Angels pics :)

My first real hunting dog was a Ryman English Setter a very long time ago. She died when I was deployed overseas and had just turned 5. 2 weeks ago I had a chance to pick up where I left off. A friend told me I had to see this fully finished 5 year old English Setter whose owner passed away a year and a half ago. It was too much dog for the widow and she just wanted it to go to a home where it would get a chance to hunt. I went to see him at the trainers and he is now sitting at my feet.

Biggest English Setter I have ever seen, has the head of a Ryman but body is large even for a Lew. At least 10 pounds overweight but been running him every night and he is already dropping weight. I leave next Wed. for a week hunting grouse in the Mn. North Shore and will keep him on the same food, he will be down at least 10 pounds after the trip. When we go to SD phez hunting for 2 weeks in Nov. I will feed him 30% protein and 20% fat and likely still have to add fish to keep weight on.

Good steady pace, not too fast or slow. He hasn't met a mud puddle he doesn't like and also loves to swim LOL.

First point on a phez with me. Most of my friends hunt pointers and tell me that toilets flush and real bird dogs point. Have to admit that I missed the pointing of a working dog. Still soaking wet.

He gets the job done in style.

Always had pups before this is my first rescue dog. I can't believe how fast we have bonded and even though he still tests me every day it is less and less. Couldn't be happier. The girlfriend not so much, but the dog is staying.

Not my best lens but I think it will work for field use. With a Black Rapid sling it fits over my hunting vest and the camera sits with the lens down in the WingWorks vest bottle holder. Doesn't interfere with gun mount and so far seems to work well.

Id say its photography related. Logos/animations are along the lines id say.Keep in mind the footage used in the animation video is not mine....only for test purposes. Now on the other hand my other video would do more justice over on the gopro page. Is there a cinematography thread? cause gopro vids can be anything...

I think you did pretty well with the flash. Nice fill in his ears and face.

Take a squeaky toy or maybe a treat-it changes everything with regard to posture and expression.
