Took this from the lobby in my office today. Use to have a window seat right here but had to move to another window. The tall buildings are downtown Fort Worth.

Was a good sunrise, unfortunately I end up having my blinds closed most days because my desk faces straight into the rising sun all morning. Need to rig up something that'll open them based on a light sensor. Above a certain level and they'll close so I don't miss the good sunrises.

My new desk overlooks an air base. See jets and planes all the time and finally brought my camera to work. Managed to get a hand full of pics and this was one of the better ones. Man these things are fast and dont leave much time to get them captured.

Is anyone using a Cannon EOS 60D? My girl is looking at getting a camera for her work (interior designer) and for play (off road trips). They have a deal at Best Buy right now for that camera and a 18-200mm IS lens for $856. Is this a good camera and a good deal? She's not a professional, she just wants to take good pictures fairly easy and have a camera that will last her some years

I shoot the 60d. Marc did for a while too. It's a great semipro camera and body to start on and grow into. That lens isn't great though. The 18-135mm is a better lens.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I live in the city..near a hwy.

^^ What Blackdawg said..Rebel series so most comfortable I'll go at low light is 800 ISO but if I'm feeling desperate, I'll risk 1600.

Thanks for the advice + feedback!

Thanks for the input. Yeah my bad. It is the 18-135mm. I went ahead and bought it last night. I figured if y'all said anything bad about it that I could just return it. f8b56169bf1d878b76df0ac3bb88cda8_8981bbdaac098c5f4f677152b3bc9ea35419e945.jpg

Went to a wedding yesterday. Man, by the end, I wanted to strangle the photographers. Ugh.

Anyway, cell phone pics off the back of my S90. Great time-sorry for the blurry. Compression plus trying to shoot back of the camera.

    Drinks!

Cool shot my son took of Ryan Villopoto at Milestone. I don't think he was too happy with my son snapping his picture. My son put this up on instagram and Kawasaki picked it up and put it on their instagram account with the "Guess who's back" caption.
