It feels like I am cheating on my long time girlfriend with this thing! :D I just wanted to share with you guys the equipment I am going to be using at KOH next week!! I owe my little brother (Dtrujillo63) a big one for this...

    Canon 5D
    Canon 70-200 f2.8
    Canon 24mm f1.4

    :D

    Don't be jealous!!

There is no way I could turn down equipment like this...:) I did a quick test of the low light capabilities of this camera and I am in AWE...but not enough to convert me because Nikon gets just as good quality but this is the first time I shoot full frame.

These were all shot with the 70-200 **Edit** and they were all hand held shots, no tripod!

Yeah, I've thought about selling the 17-35 to pick up the 14-24. The 17-35 was my first f2.8 lens when I was shooting crop body, then I added the 70-200 and 50mm. When I moved to the D3, I also bought the 24-70. The 14-24 would be the natural choice, and I certainly wouldn't need the 17-35 if I have it and the 24-70......

nice.. how the 24mm? i just switched to canon full frame too now i need some wideangle coz i could no longer use my 10-22.. my lenses are 10-22, 24-70, 70-200 2.8.. now im thinking of the 50mm 1.4 or the wideangle zoom

Did you add some vignetting in post? Seems like quite a few have dark corners, but I can't tell if you added it on purpose.

Also, some of the early photos have a bit of a blue cast to them (to my eyes anyway). Did you use auto WB, or did you manually set it?

Pretty impressive though. What software do you use for the workflow? With so many shots, I can't imagine opening each one in CS4/Camera Raw and going through them all.....

Lightroom is the best for bulk editing. all the nice parts of CR but in an easier/more user friendly fashion.

Yes I added the vig...I shoot with a digital grey card for the WB which get's set in post editing. I use PS CS5 and I edit my shots 1 by 1...not a huge fan of bulk editing as each shot will always be different. :) I don't mind the work...
