Photoshop request thread

I thew together another edit of the bumper at a different angle for ya.

 

Hello could anyone stick the grille into my grille surround please? Much appreciated Thanks!!

 

Could somebody color-match the grille and black out the tacoma badge so I can see how the chrome wheels would look without other chrome on the truck? And if possible, it'd be great if you could take out the nerf bar too.

 

Did a chrome (like the picture) and a black edit for you to compare.

Hey man, how do you color match things? I go with changing hues, color balances, and levels but this looks great. Did you go at each plane separely with a brush?

 

Thanks man. It's been mostly trial and error, I've used color balances and levels previously like you mentioned but with chrome I've found it pretty challenging.

For this one I used the clone stamp tool around the edges where the grill met the hood, bumper and edges to get the right color tones set. Then I used selected portions of each panel to lay a gradient across them. Around the right edge there I brought the reflection over with some lighter brush shading over the top corner and had to bring in some definition with some darker shadow shading near those side vents. Low opacity erasing is a good tool for getting those colors to blend.

Thanks man! No that makes sense. I hate color matching things because it takes some time to do and just a PIA sometimes getting the colors to look right in certain light.

 

DO IT BRO! that looks a lot better IMO and wont be to expensive most paint shops will sell you a rattle can of your paint code or you can give them your gas door and they can go that route.. color match that grille and get some sliders or take them steps off

 

Yeah that's what I'm thinking-or maybe a satoshi. Do you think the chrome rims would look funny without chrome trim and badges?

 

Im not a big fan of chrome, But i think it will look fine you could always d-badge it fishing line and patience is all it takes

Thanks! That's kind of what I was hoping for. Been seeing everyone getting black wheels for their Tacomas where I live. Wanted to be different and also thought that the gunmetal gray would look nice with the dark blue paint of my truck. Looks great! Thank you again.
