I'm shooting a Canon 5D Mark II with a couple of Canon lenses. Looking at picking up a Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ultra wide to try out soon.

I'm brand new to photography, but have always been into photos. I took the plunge and bought a Nikon D5100 with additional 55-200mm VR lens. I read a LOT of reviews and research on entry/mid level DSLR's. I narrowed it down to the Canon T3i and this one. I got the D5100 due to it provides the same image quality as the D7000.

I'm stoked and looking forward to learning a lot from you guise :D

Interesting, Ive never had one of those before, I enjoy both separate, but I'd say that is a good combo. I still love a good Irish car bomb. Its a tasty mix.

    Soon....
Canon 7D w/ 24-105L or nifty fifty. Got it for Christmas coming from an older rebel, so the transition hasn't been too bad. These are some shots from a recent camping trip.

Wow...a whole lot of Canon users here!

    Here's my current setup --
    Bodies:
    Canon 5D MkII & MkI, Canon 40D

    Lenses:
    Canon 70-200 2.8L, 16-35 2.8LII, 28-70 2.8L, and by far my absolute favourite...the Sigma 50mm 1.4 (I'll take that over the Canon 1.2 ANY day).

...and of course the "plastic fantastic" 50 1.8 :)

Been shooting weddings and porn for the last 6 years now.

Sure is. This was taken 2 years ago.

That's about how long it's been since I've been to it as well.

Back to camera thread, just wanted to check.

    What haven’t I changed?
Started with a Canon 20D with 24-70 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/2.8 IS about 6 years ago, and since then I've moved to a Canon 5D II, Canon 5D III, 70-200 f/2.8 IS II, 24-70 f/2.8 II, 16-35 f/2.8 II. Looking to get an 85 f/1.2 in the future, maybe the 400 f/5.6 for wildlife, and possibly the 100 f/2.8 macro. Lift kit for the truck keeps getting put on hold :(
