You can fit 33's without a lift if you are using the stock wheels... 255/85's

Not according to the majority of the 255/85 thread. Mine didn't rub too bad before the ORI's and superbumps. Took pretty minimal trimming, but I am running an aftermarket wheel which is wider and has less BS than the stock wheels.

That would fit with your love of rubbing things, I suppose.

But the BS will push it out even wider. No one makes a wheel that has the same BS as stock. I'm running an 8" wide wheel with 4.5" BS which is super common and about as close to stock as they come. I stick out 1.25" more than stock on each side and that is just as the wheel. A wider wheel makes the tire wider as well so you'll be a touch wider at the tire as well.

If you are going with a Toyota wheel though you should be good; like FJ wheels or some of the newer Tacoma wheels. They are typically all 7.5" wide with 5.25" BS.

And I barely had to trim at all. Just a little of the black line in front of the tire and a little of it behind the tire. With stock wheels I probably wouldn't have even had to trim behind the tire. I'm still running an uncut cab mount because it doesn't rub on it.
