gopro hero3 white

looking at getting a hero3 white for my brother this x-mas.

He rides dirtbikes and this will be what he mainly shoots.

So aside from the various mounts, would there be anything else to get?

sd card , case, etc?

Anyne have a coupon/discount code?

or if you have a better suggestion in the same (under $300) price range
let me know.

You might consider the front helmet mount. I have the black edition so I know mine has to have at least a class 10 SD card for certain features such as the above 1080p video and the 30 shot burst of pics. Best thing to do is check out gopro's site and see what SD card the white edition requires. If it can use the lower class card then it would cost less and no need buying something that the camera can't fully use.

You might also consider if he wants to film himself while riding and get one of the extensions for the helmet mount to get a wider view of himself. Also I noticed after I got mine that when mounting the camera with the suction cup when you want to film from the side of our trucks you have to get a side mount for the camera to sit straight up cause the mount that comes with it doesn't allow it to sit completely straight. As far as discount codes I doubt you will find any as gopro doesn't allow discounts. One of the TW retailers may be able to get you free shipping and not have to pay tax though.
