Goose Creek, SC officer shot

Officer shot while responding to a domestic call (2nd most dangerous call for an officer, behind traffic stops)

Suspect was also shot and in custody...officer in critical condition

Quote:
Goose Creek — A city police officer and several other people were shot tonight during a domestic call, authorities said. A suspect also was shot.

Goose Creek police use the hood of a squad car where they had responded to one of their officers being shot on Iris Street in the Pinewood neighborhood on Monday night.
Around 8:20 p.m. shots were fired at a home on Iris Street. A Goose Creek police officer was shot after he responded to a report of domestic disturbance at the house, authorities said.

He was taken to Trident Medical Center and later transferred to Medical University Hospital in critical condition, authorities said. Late tonight, the officer, who’s name was not released, was reported to be alert and talking. He was still in the intensive care unit, though.

The suspect and an unknown number of other people at the home also were shot. The extent of their injuries was unknown.

The one-story brick home where the shootings took place is in the Pineview neighborhood behind Advance Auto on St. James Boulevard

That's sad to hear, I hope he pulls through it and makes a full recovery.

I also hope the person that shot him will go to person for a very, very long time.
