Dad passed away suddenly

    I know what you're going through....2 years ago, my father-in-law passed and it was a total shock. I was probably closer to him than my own father. My husband and I have done everything to help my mother-in-law get through the red tape. We did seek a lawyer for some of the finer details because some things we weren't sure (legally) we could handle. It was for the best....

    There's a couple songs on my ipod that remind me of him. Everytime I hear those songs, it makes me cry all over again.

    You'll get through this.....and there's nothing like family support & love to help you do it together. Peace and prayers to you and your family.

    I lost my dad suddenly as well 54 and it does really suck. Time is the only thing that will help. But if you nned to speak with a man in your same shoes let me know. You and you family must trust god and all

    This forum rocks, thank you to everyone. You hear stories of it happening. But you never think it could happen to you or your family. The details of getting everything settled for mom are a PIA. We did go the attorney route for some stuff that is over our heads.
