    My wife has been down in Arizona for the last 3 weeks, she has spent the last 6 days in the hospital undergoing tests, biophsies, bloodwork, cat scans etc...........they have narrowed it down to lymth nodes (groin area) they have discovered 9 lumps, 5 on one side and 4 on the other, doctors ruled out infection and will find out next week if its cancer. We knew something was wrong in august but the doctors here in alaska (VA) told her nothing was wrong. I frigen hate VA doctors> my mother in law lives in arizona and we thought it would be good idea for my wife to visit and see the VA doctors down there..... seeing how no doctors up here could diagnos anything. I am so trying to be supportive being here in alaska, our son knew something was wrong and we told him last week, tomorrow I am meeting my daughter for lunch and i am telling her whats going on> she just moved out this past summer. (as far as she knows mom is just visiting grandma at this point).....I have never been so scared for my wife,myself, my children..........she is in pain constantly, weak..............I am flying down next saturday (20th) and will be with her when the results get back on monday (22nd)...just looking for a little prayer and thought...........

    My father had cancer and beat it. My best friends mom (my second mom when I was growing up) lost the battle. My GF of 7 years has been going through some tough health problems over the last 2 years. I can relate to how you must feel. Stay strong for your wife and your kids. You and your family are in my prayers.

    thank you guys, the last few months have been tough with the not knowing and now waiting for the outcome is very hard, especially talking with my wife everyday> she keeps saying things like i have to be "her" if this goes bad. yesterday she told me that she opened up a safety deposit box with all our important documents before she left and incase something happens to her all i need is a death certificate to get to them. I am constantly telling her if it is we will fight this battle and win.................Thanks again for all your prayers, i am really having a hard time dealing with this today....
