    I dated a girl at 16 that was a diabetic and she hadn't told me. Her sugar dropped real low on a date and she couldn't look me in the eye and was eating strange. I got frustrated and took her home, and before I got a word out of my mouth, her momma threw her in the chair at the table and popped a sugar cube in her mouth and she was fine. I said whoa, wait a minute, what's going on here? I got very educated on diabetes that day.
