    Sorry to hear about your loss. Losing a family member is never easy. My dad passed five years ago on Dec. 8th at 46. A little too young to pass. Good to hear you Mom lead a long meaningful life. Take care.

    sorry to hear of your loss, your post made me think of much i love and cherish my dad, we were never close until about ten years ago when he had a quad bypass and came very close to death, we have been very close ever since, i absolutely cherish his being in my life and as he says "every day is a gift". Celebrate her life and the good times I'm sure that's what she would want. God Bless.

    Very sorry for your loss. Its hard to lose your mother, even harder at this time of year. My mom passed away 8 years ago on Dec. 22. Its going to be hard at first, but it does get easier

    Thank you all for the kind words and prayers.

    We got back from the frozen cold snowy Baltimore late last night.

    Mom is in a better place. Alzheimer's is a terrible sickness. Dad may get some rest now.

    On the lighter side...Mom looked absolutely beautiful...the service was awesome...my youngest sister prepared and read the eulogy, it was outstanding. As was the food and laughter as we celebrated Mom's wonderful life.

    The viewing crowds were huge. I saw uncles/cousins/friends...some I have not seen in 30 years.

    There were some enjoyable moments to the trip.

    BIG 'ole hole in my heart that will never be filled. Only family/friends and my relationship with Jesus & our heavenly father gets me through.

    Thanks again all.
