I've been holding off on making this thread for a long time now. It's not something I wanted to put on a public forum, but I figure the more people thinking and praying for my Mom, the better.

So last July my mom was diagnosed with Lung Cancer, Brain Cancer, and Diabetes all at the same time.

They were able to control the Brain Cancer with radiation, and as of the last scan a couple weeks ago, the brain is continuing to look better.

Unfortunately, the Chemo they were using on her lungs did not work. They switched to a different Chemo treatment and it has supposedly started to control the Lung Cancer. They said it is not getting worse, but it is not getting better. Now she has lumps on her back/spine, which need radiation to treat.

The biggest problem is that she is now less than 100 pounds and not much more than a skeleton. She has no appetite, no strength, and can not walk. Because of this they have stopped all her treatments, and have told us to not worry about the diabetes anymore, just try to get her strength back.

She is now living on a hospital bed in our living room, and having to wear diapers and use a portable toilet next to the bed.

She is in so much pain that she has to take pain meds on top of the cocktail of pills they already have her on. So many pills to counteract the side effects of other pills.. It seems that all it does is make her feel sick.

Tonight I tried to get her to eat dinner but she didn't feel like it. Then I tried half a chocolate graham cracker with peanut butter and fluff on it. A snack she would normally really enjoy. Tonight she had one bite and that was it.

The fact that she won't eat just makes her even weaker, with less energy, and more pain.

I'm starting to get really worried (hence the reason I finally started this thread).

If you can take the time to pray for her, I would really appreciate it. It would mean a lot to me and my family.

    God Bless all of you.
    -Josh
