    For anybody who enjoys the outdoors and watches fishing shows on TV, you are probably familiar with Jose Wejebe.

    His show was called the spanish fly and honestly was one of the best shows in the recent past.

    Reports say that he died in a plane crash this afternoon shortly after taking off in everglades city.

    The fishing community lost a great man today, not just a great fisherman. He was one of the few who didnt let the fame get to him.

    my dad and I always watched his show, he was a great fisherman and he fished near some of our favorite areas. Its a shame if you never met him or watched his show. RIP Jose
