Well, my wife has been out of work since around Thanksgiving, and in and out of the hospital twice because of it. They have finally diagnosed 2 slipped, bulging discs in her lower back causing pain, numbness in her left leg. She is having the surgery on Jan 26th. I just hope everything turns out OK for her. I'm a little nervous having heard some real horror stories about back surgery. On the other hand, I'm glad that they are finally going to do something other than the steady diet of pain killers/muscle relaxers she has been on. I'll keep you updated.

Good luck to her and you. Everything will be just fine with the prayers and thoughts that this place generates.

Look on the bright side, you now have a reason to shave her back! ;)

I'm sure everything will be all right. Being part of the EMS system in my town you see things a lot worse! Just take it day by day. Everything will be okay.

Surgery is never fun, but when you are no longer in pain it is all worth it :D. Thoughts are sent your way for a successful surgery and a quick and painless recovery.
