Prayers for Gabe Lyall

Thanks again for all your prayers, thoughts, and support. I just can't rap my mind around the thought that Gabe is going to be gone before he gets to live his life. Such a sad sad world we live in

 

I'm so sorry to hear this. Will be praying for family and friends.

 

Y'all can still check out the Facebook page but his parents don't post as much anymore due to the overwhelming emotions and trying to spend time with Gabe now.

 

Gabe and family are in our prayers here in Upstate NY and will continue to be. Thanks for sharing this wonderful little man's life with us.

 

Makes my problems look small. Hard for me to read too although my "boy" is 26. Life is unfair that is just the way it is how some people live with the unfairness is amazing.Will be praying.

 

To all of those who followed this thread or Gabe's battle: Gabe lost his battle November 9th. He died while his mother was rocking him and singing to him. Here's a link to his obituary, thanks to all of those who shared thoughts and prayers!

Man I am so sorry for the families loss and yours. At least he went a hero and with his family. Prayers sent to his family and friends. Definitely not something I was not expecting to read tonight.

I am sorry to hear of Gabes passing. Reading about him and seeing the picture posted here and pictures posted on other sites, one could see Gabe had that special sparkle in his eyes that made it easy to tell he was an exceptional young man.

It's heartbreaking for a lot of us and life changing for his parents and those who cared about and for him.

Brett you've been a great friend to Gabe and his entire family and if they've not been able to share that with you yet because of the circumstances I assure you, even if you did nothing but the work here on TW for Gabe, it had a positive impact that you may not even be aware of yet (and I know you've done more). You are to be commended.

If it's appropriate please pass to the loved ones that we are praying and thinking of all of them, including you.

Was dreading seeing this update arriving in my inbox. Very saddened today.

May he rest in peace with no more pain. May his family know that they are not alone at this time. Their little boy touched more hearts than they will ever know.

Thanks again, everyone for all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. I don't think I've ever had a death effect me the way Gabe's has, and I've lost close family members. As requested, Gabe had superheroes as his pallbearers. It was a very touching gesture. I have seen a "pay it forward in memory of Gabe" trend starting to take shape on his Facebook group. The ENTIRE high school walked from the school to the church for his wake. It was truly amazing to see and I can't believe his spirit is still living on after he's gone!
