    We learned today that Ron has advanced pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver and stomach. It's inoperable. So it's not looking real promising right now but we do appreciate your prayers for him. Thank you.

    Just did see this Matt. Ron's name will be in my pocket next to my aching heart bro. My fil must be the brother of your fil man.

    Mine is one of my best friends and he also gave me my first shotgun and taught me to birdhunt............and all the rest just like your story.

    He had a bad stroke and other problems and can't use his left side. My point is I feel your fear and pain. I hurt for you brother........

    I will be lifting Ron, you, and the rest of your family up in prayer my friend.

    Ron was transfered to the Mayo Hospital this afternoon. If anything can be done, they're the doctors to do it- they are the best in the world.

    We just got back from visiting Ron. He is in good spirits. I don't think the reality has set in for him yet. He looks like he is withering away. His voice is strained and weak sounding. His 9 children and all his grandchildren are in town visiting him so that is good.
    I told him today about all of my truck buddies that are praying for him and he was truly grateful to all of you.
