Got a call yesterday from my mom in indiana concerning my sister-in-law in Williamsport,PA.

She's recovering after 12 hrs of surgery. I havn't gotten all the details.
Her words from her facebook post.

"Jennifer: I accidentally broke my porcelain crock pot and it shattered. I severed the 2 main arteries in my arm. Cut my arm clear to the bone. Almost bled to death. Hubby rushed me to LH and they life flighted me to Geisinger . Was in surgery 12 hours."

Apparently they have to take a piece of vein or artery from her inner thigh because when they went to clamp the vein to keep it from bleeding, they damaged it.

She seems to be doing fine now.
Please keep her in your prayers.

    Thank you
    Richard

    So true.
One minute you are preparing dinner for the family. The next you are fighting for your life.
