Man. I feel ya. My dad had a stroke, 3 year old niece - leukemia, mom breast cancer. All in the same year. Cat died too.

Stay strong and good luck. Modern medicine is wonderful.

MM DO NOT give up hope!!!! Since it has spread, they will treat the beast as a cronic condition and they won't give a prognosis. Go to and have her go to www.breastcancer.org There are people on there that are stage 4 and still around many years after their diagnosis. There are discussion boards where you can have all your questions answered by someone who is either going through it or has gone through it. There are new treatments coming out every month and one WILL HELP her.

Prayers for a speedy recovery for her and prayers to you to stay strong.

MM, I know what you and your family are feeling. No words can express the way I feel on this subject. All's I can say is be strong about it, I know it is hard, but when it comes to this that is all we can do.
The treatments now a days are great, they are not 100% but they are getting there.
I will let my wife know about this, and if any of you would like to talk to a someone who has gone through it twice and has kicked it's ass. Let me know.

Blessing's and Prayers to you all.

    Bill

My wife just beat colon cancer, & she did the same thing, (waited too long). She had surgery a couple of weeks ago & is doing much better now. Hang in there buddy. It will all turn out OK.....I'll pray for her too.

Thank you for asking! We saw the Cancer Specialist Tuesday. She showed us the PET-Scan results. My mon has a large tumer in her right breast that is close to ulcering out, there is a spot in her lungs, on top of her kidneys, in her bones and some pressing on her lungs which makes it difficult for her to breath sometimes. She is starting Chemo as I type this. I just hope she doesn't get too sick from these drugs that they put in her. The Doctor said that she could live past the 5 year mark...I guess we'll see.
