    Teddy ran out of the front yard during the Tennis ball launcher event

    He has been missing apprx 10 hours and its too dark to continue our search, the wife and I are really worried that something bad has happen or someone may have taken him.

    :(

    I just made an attempt at a Night Recon.. i never relized how dark it is around here.. and it doesnt help i dont think the neighbors like it when im driving and walking aroudn with my flashlight.. I told the security people if they get any info, here or see anythign to call me.. any time of night.. So i just hope we can actually get some sleep and wake up to him at the front door ready for breakfast

    When we lived in Texas he went missing 3 days and he has run off before but he never finds his way home we always get calls that people found him.

    Dogs have an incredible sense of knowing how to find their way back home. I've worried myself sick a number of times in situations like this with our dogs & cats, only to have them come scratching at the door at some godawful hour.
    Don't want this to sound like a minimization and I'm not going to tell you not to worry because I know what it's like and you can't help but be worried. Just trying to offer a little encouragement. Animals are extremely smart!:) I hope you are reunited soon.

    I grew up with a Boxer that would run off some times for 12 or more hours at a time. We discovered that the dog figured out where a country bar was located more than a mile from home and would go there where guys would give him beer and snacks. Dogs are much smarter than we often give them credit for. Keep your fingers crossed and lets hope for the best. Good luck and have the coffee ready.
