Hey guys, as some of y'all know, we just got back from picking up a car in Iowa. This morning my dad and I were trying to hook the trailer back up and something was screwed up with the U-Haul trailer... the coupler or whatever was just not working right.

To make a long story short, I was easing the Tacoma forward and evidently my dad had his hand between the ball and trailer. His pointer and middle finger were crushed, and he is probably going to lose one of them. I saw most of it happen, and it's really difficult not to blame myself but it really is my fault. He's still being worked on at the hospital, and I'm heading back up there...

I'd really appreciate any prayers! Thanks guys!

Wow, thanks a lot everyone! I just got back home and Dad is going to end up having part of his index finger amputated, but it's better than it looked. I'll have to tell Dad that someone from Canada is praying for him because we're French Canadian :)

Again, thanks for the support and I love TW!

Well I just got a call from my mom and she has ended up in the emergency room. I guess she was upset about my dad today and ended up falling and passing out at CVS Pharmacy, so I'll be headed back up there shortly.

It's just a small bump in the road of life, I guess... thanks everyone.

I'll send some prayers his way, bud.

More then likely he is in good hands. My brother cut his thumb off with a T-Post driver about 4 years back. It was completely severed. They had a surgen reattach the nerve endings and then worked some magic. Believe it or not, his thumb works like a charm now! Pretty wild.
