I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Dogs, even though we tell ourselves they are dogs, are like kids. I had to put my 2 year old puppy down from kidney disease, something that should have not happened.

My thoughts and sympathies go to you.

God Bless your dog and you know that she resides now with all the animals gone by. Here is where your peace should come with Jenny going-you and your family gave her a good life which, by the way I commend you for. You hear so many times of abuse and neglect and because of you wonderful folks she got a taste of the good life-no? Now you are set to give the same love to the new one-there's a fortunate pup:) We had to put down my mom's dog which was an ex-cop k9 as well. She had been neglected after her duty by an ignorant jerk who only wanted her for the image and we took her in. She was suffering way too much at the end. But mom gave her a good home and lots of love. Jenny's passing was a happy one thanks to you guys:)
