Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Any one catch the 60 Minutes footage last night?

UNREAL! The hospital they featured has no Haitian doctors. They just dissappeared? The supplies are all sitting at the airport because of the logistics nightmare. They even showed the masses of bodies being scooped into a dump truck with a front end loader.

My heart goes out to the volunteers and of course the people of Haiti.

I saw a video today before i headed to work.. a husband knew where his wife was and has been digging with his hands for 6 days.. found his wife buried in that space when he opened a small hole and heard her voice! They dug for hours and finally found her - only had a broken hand.. and she was singing when she came out. CRAZY amazing video.. if someone is computer savvy can they post it here??? I saw it right as i was leaving work and i cant find it now...!

Heard they had a 6.1 aftershock a few hrs ago.. knocked down some buildings.. :(

I saw that on tv. An American rescue team got her out, bandaged her hands, and she was driven away sitting up in the passenger seat after being buried under concrete for 6 days. Unreal.

Thank God we live in America! I can only hope and pray that the entire country of Haiti doesn't compltely break down into chaos with all of the hungry, thirsty and injured people. My wife and I support a little girl that lives in Haiti and it breaks my heart to think of her scared and hurting.....or worse. We look at her picture and pray every night that she is OK, she just looks so innocent but still content with what she has. At Christmas we send a little extra and she will write us to say thanks and to tell us what she bought with her money. Usually it is seeds for their garden or chickens or material for clothes. Our kids have no understanding for how lucky we are and neither do I most likely. Thank God we live in America!

I feel terrible for what happened to those folks. My wife and I donated twice (the second time via Obama and .gov funds) and I really hope things improve rapidly. With that said, I feel compelled to elaborate on some things....

    1. If you can't feed 'em, don't breed 'em. Seriously, start putting birth control in your water supply. You can't feed yourselves but you continue to knock each other up? Screw your faith and use some common sense. Ditto for other poor nations as well.
    2. In a few aspects this may be the best thing to happen to Haiti in a long time. They receive aid, monetary funds, chance to build from scratch, and renewed interest from other nations.
    3. Our basket is full and our tax funds exhausted. DO NOT bring refugees here to run rampant. We already have 12-20 Million undocumented "refugees" here. Enough!
    4. Where are the race baters? All I see on TV are white people digging people out and adopting Haitian orphans. Do other races not adopt children or is the media cherry picking footage as usual?
    5. Hollywood's fundraiser the other night.....I liked it, but couldn't help but think about how pro-abortion most of Hollywood is every time one of them referred to the helpless children of Haiti. It's a bit hypocritical I think.
    6. If only we spent 10% of equivalent funds and effort on our own starving and homeless citizens....

    $.02
