Your right. It seems a good person can leave us and it leaves the entire community completely stunned. We had a friend pass away 2 weeks ago from an accident that was caused by someone elses stupitiy. A great father, friend, mentor, you name it. Its not fair. I hope you are ok and things turn around for you.

because good people are selfless and expose themselves to more risk in order to help others. unfortunately that risk means their number comes up more often

    sorry for you loss brother.

You are not alone! Keep the Faith and Don't try too hard to understand it!

Wife's Mom, who has been more a Mother to me than my own, was diagnosed with breast cancer last week. She goes in Monday for full mastectomy and chemo.

Scares the hell outta me, but I keep it to myself out of compassion for my wife and rest of family. Unfortunately it feels like Deja vu. In high school, my best friend's Mom was diagnosed with the same thing my Junior Year. We lost her three years later.

Both these beautiful women never smoked, drank unreasonably, or did harm to another living being. Makes absolutely no sense what so ever, and frustrates me horribly. It's not fair...it's just what it is.

Cancer has to be one of the Devil's blights on the world. I pray to God for a cure and for comfort for the victims and their loved ones and friends.

Didn't mean to jack your thread, but it gave an outlet to vent...and hopefully let you know you're not alone.

    God help us all!

    v/r Rob

Greg, TW is a special place and there are many many good people around here to support you. Get it out all you want brother, there are many of us around here that have felt similar pain.

I will be adding you and your family as well as your mother in law to my prayer list. Could I get you mother in law's first name? Thanks.
