For once, I was able to say my goodbyes and not feel like the person was shorted on life!

We buried my Grandfather today. We was 92 and lived a great life. Served in WWII, married for 70 years and fathered an awesome family.

It was a weekend of celebration rather than a weekend of mourning. My Grandmother (90 next week) will miss his company but she has a strong support of friends and family to share her final years with.

He was an amazing man who lived a humble and admirable life. I was very close to him and barely knew about his years in the service. He never spoke about those years but was only interested in us.

Anyway, I can only hope I live as long and as happy as he has. He died peacefully with his friends and family at his side. May he rest in peace.

bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
nice to hear that you had a weekend of celebration vs. a weekend of mourning. My sympathies to you and your family in your time of loss.
