My girlfriend bought me some wheels for Xmas from 4wheelparts. They gave her this long lecture about how the wheels I chose would not fit my 2nd gen...She got them anyways. The wheels fit the truck but when Americas tire comp finished installing... we went out and saw that they had gave her the wrong ones. We called and they agreed to give me the right ones but will not let me pay the difference over the phone! I'm so frustrated with this place... Will never go back.

    Any similar stories?

f 4wp. they've tried to screw me over countless times i finally gave up and will never go back. they wanted 600 some dollars to install a lift, plus 45 for this and 50 for that and 30 to reset this..then i had an issue with my intake (didn't come with the tube adapter) and they wanted $50 just for a rubber adapter...i called aFe and they sent one for free. plus they're fuckin rude and act all high and mighty

I'm guessing that 4wp was saying the rims wouldn't fit because they would rub that calipers (that's what they say about every single 16" wheel).

OP, what was wrong with the wheels they sent you?

Because I've seen them on a few 2nd gens on the site, I knew They would fit with minor trimming.

So when you say they gave you the "wrong ones"....they actually were the wrong model of wheel?

I gave my Christmas list to my girlfriend with the wheels I wanted and gave them the series that I had wrote down which was Pro Comp Series 8069 and they gave me Series 98. They also quoted me 4 different prices for the series 8069.
