I know that there's a lot of threads out there about tonneau covers, and they've helped me a bunch. I've narrowed it, I think, to the Extang Tuff Tonno...but I still have a couple concerns, mostly around cold weather use.

Can owners of this product please tell me their cold weather experiences? I'm especially concerned of two things:

    1. That the cover is extremely difficult to install in the cold (I know it won't be Velcro). Is it closer to Velcro or closer to snaps in terms of difficulty installing in the cold?

    2. That the J-channel rail may suffer durability problems in the cold. Has anyone had trouble with the J-hook tearing off or being damaged by cold weather use? If so, would this fall under the cover warranty?

Thanks in advance for your help and opinions!
