NoLoss valve caps.

Will from Sierra Expeditions set me up with a set of these to try out. Right now, Will is having a TW discount on these here.They are very good quality, and they have a nice, durrable nylon seal inside them. The valve caps are attached to the valve stem via a rubber/plastic lanyard. You thread the open end on the valve stem, and it holds the cap to the stem, preventing loss when airing down, or checking tire pressure as a regular maint. rutine. The va;ve cap itself has a grove cut in it that fits the lanyard, and allows it to rotate smoothly, while still retaining the cap securly. Although these are not recomended for aluminum stems, I have been running aluminum valve caps on my TPMS stems for quite some time without issue. The valve caps I have been running have been submerged multiple times in local lakes, pee'd on by local stray cats, and have never shown signs of coroding to the stems. These seem much more durrable than the ones I have been running. I talked to Will about them being run on TPMS equiped vehicles, and we both agreed that applying a very light amount of an anti sieze is the best way to go. Anyway, They are rated to be able to be able to hold air pressure in the tire, even if the valve core leaks. I have no doubt this would be true, given the seal material.

 

I think the Aluminum ones are just fine!

UPDATE:
I have had no issues at all with these sticking to the TPMS stems. I only applied a little bit of anti seize at the inital installation of the caps, and have removed them about 2 dozen times. They work great! On another note, No one has stolen them off my truck either!
