Thumbs up Review: Dura-Gloss Clear Coat Polish #111

Wanted to write a quick review of this product. This weekend I decided to wash the truck... I had some of this stuff in my bin of auto detailing products and I busted it out.

I used it and the truck came out great... That said, it was a bit of a pain to buff off once it was on... but I messed around with the time that I allowed it to dry and it seemed easier when I let it set for a minute or two.

Here is what is said about this product:

"Nonabrasive, synthetic protection for clear coat finishes!

Duragloss CCP (Clear Coat Polish) is a non-abrasive synthetic formula, which gives a "wet look" shine and durable protective coating. This product is durable to both acid and alkaline washes. Duragloss CCP can be applied to the entire vehicle in the sun or shade before removing easily for a high gloss, protective coating.

Duragloss Clear Coat Polish is what we would call a paint sealant. It actually has no abrasives in it and therefore does not fit what most modern car care specialists define as polishes. Duragloss Clear Coat Polish is a durable protective polymer coating that produces a wet look shine on all clear coat paint finishes.

This glossy shine resists acidic and alkaline cleaners to provide your vehicle with 6 months of protection. Acidic cleaners include most bug & tar removers and alkaline cleaners refer the detergents used by most drive-through car washes. Duragloss Clear Coat Polish lasts through many of the convenient, but sometimes harsh techniques we sometimes use to clean our vehicles.

Duragloss Clear Coat Polish is completely nonabrasive. For the best results, prep your vehicle with a prewax cleaner, like Wolfgang Prewax Polish Enhancer. This gentle cleansing lotion will disguise the finest imperfections so your final coat of paint protection looks flawless.

Apply Duragloss Clear Coat Polish to the entire vehicle and then buff off using a soft Cobra Microfiber Towel. Reapply every 6 months for optimum protection.

If desired, apply a carnauba wax such as DP Max Wax as a topper. It will not disturb the Duragloss and it will further enhance the shine with genuine carnauba.

Protect your clear coated vehicle with Duragloss Clear Coat Polish (CCP) for 6 months of durable, synthetic protection and a glossy wet look."

I would agree that this does give it the wet look for sure... Sadly, it rained today and I didn't get a chance to get any pics... But I would recommend it.

Thanks... I think I paid around 13 bucks for it... and it's a small bottle - but you really do not need much. Box says that it does 2 vehicles - but I have done my truck and my fiancee's car several times each with it.

By the way - it rained last night - and very few water spots... must have been where I missed. I was in a rush because the sun was going down...

And this can be applied in the sun or shade - fyi.
