Just stock 265/70/16 until they die out. Then I'll either go to 265/75/16 or 255/85/16.

Very interested in this kit as I've been eyeballing the OME kit forever now. So is this Ironmans first kit for the Tacoma's? Because I've never heard of Ironman until recently. Website says they've been around for 40 odd years or something.

OP - did you ever find out why your coil bent? Any others have this problem??

I'm a bit weary since its a new brand to me, but it seems to be well supported..

Edit: Anyone running the Foam Cell shocks instead of the Nitro Gas?? Do you like them?

    Thanks!

They have been doing Hilux's forever since they are an Aussie company like OME is. They decided to expand their market to the US because we are one of the few other countries that like to spend money and have fun like this.

The coil bent due to improper installation at the shop (putting coils together, not full install). When they put them together, they didn't tighten the top nut enough and we didn't notice it until after I had driven it about 5 miles to break the front in before going to the rear. So I am sure the coil shifted backwards putting more pressure on it.

Everyone I have spoken too otherwise has loved this kit. They aren't the greatest at getting you all the parts right away, so I would call Camel4x4 for pricing through them, or go with SierraExpeditions like I did. They shipped me out the whole kit at once. I also went with gas shocks just because I am not that hardcore of off-roader... and I still don't trust foam.

Did you reinstall your sway bar using the relocation kit? If so, how would you compare the handling to stock? I want a 1.75 - 2.00" lift, but do not want to degrade the on road handling. I have a 2013 4X4, DCSB, TRD Sport and if possible, I would like to improve the on road handling.

Also, have you had any issues with vibration? I have heard that some have experienced vibration associated with a 1.75" lift.

I did, but just because I had some other issues. I may take it back off again later. The handling on it is great compared to stock. I couldn't ask for a better ride with the whole lift.

And no, I have not had any vibes in my auto. My manual did. It all depends on the truck though. Some people get them, some don't.

    Get it

It looks like it is just under 900 at SierraExpeditions. The kit came with everything needed correct? Do you rec a spring based on an Access Cab no additional weight as in caps or winches

Yes, and so far with everyone else buying it, they were the best for shipping. A lot of people have gotten the lift in pieces from other companies. I got the whole thing all at once.

Mine was an issue with a bad coil. It sagged on one side and the sway bar helped me keep it more level. Now that I have new coils on both sides I can probably take it back off.

how do you think this lift will handle the weight of an aftermarket bumper, say an aluminum relentless one?

Should be fine. You can order springs that hold extra weight. They have two weight classes of springs.

ok, wow, now i'm really considering this lift over the OME. seems like less trouble down the road too, no new UCAs, hopefully no messing with axle shims from vibes, good CV angles, etc. thanks OP, the bumper and winch is what has me still on the fence.

No problem! If you have any questions on the spring weights, you can go to the IM4x4 website and they should give you more information on weights. It's all in kg's so you get to do your own math on it

There's a guy on Expedition portal with an ARB bumper on the regular duty springs and it seemed to handle the weight quite well so you be fine. I just ordered a winch mount for mine. Planning on going with synthetic rope as I would like to keep the weight down as well.

Im pretty sure there hasnt been, especially here. I had my eye on this setup when the first thread poped up about it. Maybe you should contact a suplier and see if you can set something up. Tax return time :D
