I have the OEM mat also. Great mat but heavy. With my Backflip cover, I think I added about 150 pounds to the truck.

Got my Deezee from Jeg's for $51 with my special account. Took about 2 minutes to trim with kitchen shears, fit is perfect, and it does its job. I can't see paying double that for an OEM mat that does the same job but says "TACOMA" in the middle...

I also have a Dee Zee bed mat that I trimmed to fit my short bed. I've had it for nearly three years and have no complaints.

Does the job!

I got my bed mat at local Western Performance store. Custom sized for my 2011. Perfect fit. Cut outs for tie downs and drain holes. $79.95. Great deal. Same quality as OEM from Toyota. :-)

I have the OEM Tacoma mat and it still will not lay flat. It has 4 to5 humps in it and its been 8 weeks or so during the summer. It also has tons of white cording showing through. It almost seems like the mat was not cured properly. Ive got it zip tied tightly in the garage trying to get it to smooth out a bit.....Feeling like I should have gotten the generic mat

If you aren't happy with it, you should have taken it back and exchanged it for another one.

I ordered it, but I may contact them if I don't have any luck getting it to lay down

Is there anything that makes the OEM mat theft-proof or does it just sit in there? Worried it will get swiped. If this truck wasn't so popular, might not worry so much.

Check out the bed mat mod, it's a deterrent but not theft-proof.

I have had the OEM mat for 15 years now without any complaints. It keeps things from sliding or from getting scuffed from the Line-X.

Oem and it keeps stuff from sliding around but if sliding something in heavy it has bunched up. As for theft proof Some guys installed extra d rings through theirs.

There are bunches that are similar. Don't know that you'll find one thinner. Have to have a certain weight so it won't blow out the back
