I have the trail gear bolt on sliders for the 01-04 tacomas. I love my sliders, much beefier than I thought they would be. And can't beat the price!

Since you have a 2nd gen I think bolting on these sliders will be simple. I have the bolt on sliders but since the first gen's have a boxed frame, bolting them on would have been ridiculous! So I had them welded on. Either way they are great for rocker panel protection, look great, and get the job done.

Bump, just ordered these, coincidentally from sidetracked offroad and can't wait to test them out.

    I don't know what's going on, but I'm also looking at Trail-Gear bolt-ons for my 06 AccessCab.

I would order them now while TG is offering free shipping. Shipping sliders is costly.

Thank you Chopper for the order!

Also Trail-Gear is raising their prices 5% on most products starting 1/1/15 If you are looking into it, with free shipping now is definitely the time to get them.

I can always save you $ though off the retail price though :)

To add to that, I believe most if not all fabricators are raising their prices, because I've asked them personally about sales or deals and they said material was about to go up. Sidetracked whenever I look for recovery gear I will stop at trailgear first via you.

Yes sir, I ordered these during a holiday sale. Bolted them up and immediately tested them with the hi-lift. I opened my rear left door and positioned the hi-lift in line with one of the supporting arms of course. After a little deflection, it lifted the truck with no issues. I was confused at first about the deflection but one of the guys who helped me said his sliders deflect the same way. I think they all do. If you want pics of how the sliders look on a DCSB then PM me.
