I want to know people opinions on fuel injector cleaner. Does it work? Is it worth buying? If it is what brand?

I have been using the Lucas injector cleaner, I believe it helps with gas milage and good to do every 10k mi. or so. But much better served on high milage vehicles like over 50k-75k+ I see restored power and efficiency when used on a vehicle that it has not had a injector cleanse, however when used regularly though I think it provides little improvement. So a good cleanse maybe once or twice a year I believe is worth the $4-$5

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Name brand gasoline all contains detergents (even Costco gasoline) that make regular fuel injector cleaner treatment a waste of money. No need for it.

Now a periodic fuel injector cleaning is still a good plan. Where the injectors are physically removed and cleaned in a special machine. Cost around $120 -$200.

Save your money for the inevitable "real" injector cleaning service.
