URD TCAI

I installed this a couple days ago and wow, what a difference! I didn't even install the maf calibrator that it came with and I already feel a pull when I floor it. It has a nice deep growl to it and my intake temperatures have never gotten higher that 82°F. It is most definitely a true cold air intake. I highly recommend this product. I'm installing the maf calibrator at the moment and I will let you know how it goes. It was fairly easy to install. I took my truck to a shop to do the trim that is required for placement. After that it was an hour tops.

Interested in seeing and hearing about the maf calibrator. I'm looking to get the same set up.

 

As for the maf cal, it kicks in at around 3000 rpm's. I do feel a difference. It reminds me of my old Honda Prelude when the V-tech would kick in.

 

I can see a Hydro-lock in your near future....keep a sock handy..

 

That's what the injen hydrofilter cover is for, plus the injen heatshield/splash guard works wonders with mine. I have both on and haven't had any issues at all.

 

Is this installed on a stock truck? No other performance mods?

 

I just installed the same intake and was browsing the site for install pics when I came across this thread. Just curious on where you bought your set of hoses at?
