I was going to say the same about that super-secret location.
Currently, I use that spot to clip my garage door opener since that damn vanity mirror is SOOO THICK I can't even put the opener on it...

The low postion of the front seats. Should offer a power rear slider on the double cab.

Easy solution for the garage door opener. Remove the clip and use double sided tape.

Nope...size 11 and I hit them both as well. If I maneuver my foot correctly, I can get a hell of a start with just one foot!

The stem of the brake pedal also bothers me. I have to continually slide my foot back so just the front of my foot touches the pedal. Otherwise it touches the pedal and stem.

    • The arm rest is the same as resting on a brick.
    • No fog light on/off indicator
    • The stock HU display can't been seen when wearing polarized sunglasses.
    All in, I love it.

I've also noticed that the left foot dead pedal on the manual is not large enough for my size 11 shoe to rest on without hitting the clutch bracket. My '94 had more foot room.

I bought an ashtray for one of the cupholders to solve that problem. Of course my manual has extra cupholders that you a/t guys are lacking. :D

I second that. The seats are too low to the floor and the steering wheel is too big and hits your knees. Tilt-wheel does not go up high enough. The floor pans should be lower too because my boots get stuck between the floor mat and the lower dash.

That I have 115,000 miles on it. No problems so far. I wish it had less miles.

I guess the worst thing is the cheap windshields. It chipped & cracked very easy. Just replaced it a week ago.

    uhh...everything? lol
wow thats a lot of complaints...the biggest thing i hate is that toyota doesnt offer any real tuning support. If toyota had an HP Tuners set up, then people could take their toyotas with forced induction and get a real tune instead of piggy back crap. (i know toyota has reflashes for the newer models but i bet those tunes are pig rich and suck) I think if people could run f/i more effectively on toyota engines that you would see an increase in badass toyoats being built for both on and offroad applications.
