I hate that my Taco is at my best friend's house because I can't keep it at mine- my neighbor will call the city on me again for having more than the allowed number of non-running vehicles in my yard. (I just bought this 96 Taco for $250. It sat for a few years because the owner let it sit after it blew its head gasket. I couldn't pass it up.)

I also hate that I can't work on my truck until my friend's garage is completely finished. Since he's helping me with it, and it's in his yard, we go by his rules. I mean, it's understandable, really- we just finished building the garage. We gotta have the floor painted before we go putting a vehicle on it that will drip oil and whatnot everywhere- if oil gets on that floor before it's painted, the paint will never truly stick, and it'll bubble and crack. Also, the doors and siding have to be up in less than a month, because his building permit is about to expire- and once it does, the city can fine him for not having the garage sided and with doors. :p
Sucks, but there's nothing I can do about it but work on his garage as much as possible.

Another Honda guy! :) Never had a ticker Honda either. And the change in gas mileage sure sucks, doesn't it?
    Gotta love a Taco, though.

    On my 12 Access cab.
    The standards:
    No bed lamp.
    No tailgate lock.
    Non opening back seat windows.
    Seat belt chime!
No entune option in the OR. Sound quality of the radio sucks.
    Flimsy tailgate.
    Clutch pedal play!!!!
But I still love her regardless!

a little inisght... it works, i did it... and i LOVE it !!!

    disable seat belt chime
Shoot, I wish I had an Offroad instead of the Sport to do the locker mod, abs, VSC stuff detailed earlier.

Here is a mod originally from TRDtoy79.
It is one of my favorites because it's free and clever (only for 2008):

How much are you willing to pay for me to tell you the code that turns the seat belt chime off?

No, I'm not kidding. I have the code and tested it on my '08 Taco.

No takers??? Fine then! Hope you enjoy listening to that endless, annoying seat belt chime.

OK, I give. Here it is. BTW you guys are no fun :

    1) Turn the Car 'ON', but do not start the engine (Leave your foot off the brake). Cycle your trip reset knob until it reads ODO. Turn the ignition back off. Wait a couple of seconds.
    2) Make sure seat belt is not fastened
    3) Turn the ignition back on, do not start the car (Leave you foot off the break) As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset knob and do a long 12 second count.
    4) Keep your finger on the trip reset knob. Fasten your seat belt, as soon as you fasten your seat belt, you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off the trip reset knob and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". You should be all set and turn the ignition off and unfasten your seat belt.

    SWEET!!
