I dunno about all you guys and girls, :D but I'm coming over from THREE Rav4 vehicles (2000, 2003, and 2008).

I'm driving a 2007 2.7L Standard pkg, 5 spd manual, black bumpers, grill and now; black painted steel factory rims. I'm just happy to have a Tacoma to haul yard waste and do all my dump runs and errands.

Yeah, I could search forever to find faults, but frankly, I would rather be grateful that my kids have left home to build up their own lives and I can happily trade in the mini-van and Rav4 babies, now I'm just so happy to have a 'Yoda truck once again. :)

Just my 0.02 after tax cents!

    Cheers all!

    Barney

I'm on my second tacoma. First was 1999 that I bought new and modded with pretty much everything at one time or another for 14 years. Toyota bought it back due to frame rust. New tacoma is exact same truck down to the black color with alpine nav/dvd, tint, de-badged, and softopper, so far.
Why o why won't Toyota put a six banger in the regular cab? Dumb!

Rear view mirror too low, no lock on glove box, Sport model has matching color rear bumper (I'd prefer chrome), doors don't close as easily as my 07 4Runner, no defrost on rear window, no one touch window closing, no sunroof option.

What I love is that my dealer included a lifetime, unlimited mileage warranty for engine and powertrain, and has fixed pricing that no local dealer could match, much less beat.

The lack of adjustments for the seat, particularly vertical adjustments.

Three out of five times I fasten my seatbelt, I bump the center console button and it opens.

It's the least roomy of all of my trucks. I couldn't survive a Gen. 1.
