This is a great idea just ordered mine. I read all the posts but didn't see where anyone has used short bolts with nuts to attach this. Probably what I'll do. Anyone do this?

Edit: just realized the title of this thread  I'll be drilling mine.

It would be easy to just screw some small self tapping screws directly into the plastic, and hide them under the elastic webbing for a stealth install. But honestly, adhesive velcro holds just fine for me. I just know that most people (like myself) would like to avoid drilling anything in their prized truck, as much as possible, so that's why I added that to the title.

Roger that and thanks for the info. Putting a couple holes in my console cover is one of the least destructive mods I've done to my truck :D

The issue with these is you can't put much in them because when it gets heavy the lip won't stay open.

    Truth.
I use mine for pens, USB drives and my cell charger with cord, holds my flashlight just fine but it certainly is approaching the point where the springs won't hold the lid open anymore. I am okay with that though. :D

I hate my Salex organizer. One day I'll find a suitable replacement.

Just got mine in. Going to install it soon. Might use the tiny self-tapping screws method, but we'll see.

I used some small black sheet metal screws and blends perfectly.

Installed it with the normal velcro method. I'm glad I did. It's nice to be able to remove it if I need to for whatever reason. I also picked up a little battery powered light from Home Depot. Pretty neat little mod.
