ODB II - USB Interface - Any advice?

I have been looking at a couple of devices that will allow me to hook my computer into the ODB II port. This will likely evolve into a netbook/carputer mod.

Here are some of the units I've found:
ODB Link CI
ELMScan 5 USB
OBDPro USB Scantool

Has anyone used any of these units?

Two are under $90. I'm surprised. A few years ago, the computer-interfaced readers were several hundred. See if you can download and try out their software (demo).. that may be the biggest factor in deciding between them.

I looked at the ScanGuage.
Eventually my plan is to install a netbook that will handle ODB II, GPS, and the tailgate camera (I've got a 2009, so I have a camera, but no screen)

That's a great idea. Hopefully I can find something to test.
Thanks.
