floor liner

I am looking at getting some floor liners for my truck! If you have purchased some, then post some pics, reviews, or links to the ones you have so I can see if I like them!

 

People are going to tell you Husky Liners or Weather Techs. Mostly weather techs. I went Husky cause they can hold more shit in them than the Weathers, and there's no holes in them like the Weathers.

 

I also went with Huskies. Living in Vermont my boots are always tracking snow and road salt into the truck. Huskies hold a LOT of liquid and there's no leakage.

 

Weathertechs are the best, but i don't think you will find them to fit if it is fit the 96'.

You'll probably have to settle for the Husky's for that year truck.

 

Husky mats for me too! I really liked the OEM Tacoma all weather mats, but the Husky Liners are pretty darned good, and as Tadcaster said, they hold a lot of liquid.

 

Weathertechs: Better fit, more area covered, more expensive.

Husky Liners: Less expensive, deeper hold area, less surface area covered, not as custom fit.


You pick. I went with weathertechs myself and am super happy.

 

I have Husky's in my 99 and just got Weathertech Digital Fit in my 2010

For me I have to say the Weathertech is much much better.

 

I have Weathertechs. They fit my Tacoma aweosome and look great. Mine holds a ton of water and have no leaks. Very pleased with these.

 

i just bought some weathertechs 3 weeks ago.and im still waiting for them from autoanything.com

 

I am leaning more towards the Huskey's. But I am worried that since they have a raised edge, my foot may catch when i get in. Does anyone have a picture of them in your truck??

 

And also pics of the weather techs would be nice!

 

I got some weathertechs in my 2010 dbl cab. I just wanna say that they fit absolutely perfectly and cover every inch where you need coverage (except under the seat, of course).

Unless your soakin wet gettin into your truck, I don't see how water could leak around the hooks or spill over the side. Just not possible.

Yea problem with weathertech is that they do not make them for a 96

 

They took forever to ship mine too, I will never buy anything from them again.

 

There are numerous threads here about both Husky and WT's. I have had Husky liners in 4 vehicles and they are a great product. I just installed the WT Digital Fit mats in my 08 Taco BECAUSE of the fact that they have the holes for the floor clips.

So far, So good. They will both keep snow, mud and gravel off your carpet....which I guess is the goal. I like the WT's and I liked the Husky's. The WT's fit better and protect a larger % of your floor.

 

I have the WeatherTechs, I got them directly from the manufacturer. With my gray interior 2006 Access cab they fit perfect. I agree they have a great fit and cover more surface area. No problems with snow, mud and rain, they hold it all.

 

Ok guys, I am getting the Huskeys as soon as i get y tax return. But I am a little bit nervous about getting them. Some of the reviews said that since they are raised you catch your foot on them when you get in and out, and other reviews say that they do not cover the carpet near the door much! Is any of this true?? And please post me some pics of the Huskys so I can see how the look!

 

Can't say with the 96-04's but for the first week I caught my foot on the edge. Then I learned to lift an inch higher and no more problem.

As for having the holes for the clips - Why? With the bottoms on these things they aren't going anywhere.
