Craftsman C3 Cordless Tools

I own several of the C3 cordless tools. I'll review two of them:

The cordless impact wrench (#17090) is one of their best tools. For a cordless impact this thing can bust the lugs on all 4 wheels and put them back on while using the same lithium-ion battery. I'm sure it can handle another 4 tires. No need in dragging out the air hose and compressor.

The cordless inflator (#11586) impressed me this weekend. I've used it to air up my tires on occasion. But it was put to the test when airing up 4 tires from 20 psi to 30 psi. Sure, it may have taken 15 minutes, but the inflator allows you to set a certain psi and put it on auto and walk away. Very convenient.

I've got a Craftsman electric impact too and love it!

Mine is the 20v Professional cordless. I've done 4 wheels and the suspension lift with this thing and the battery said it still had half a charge. It comes with 1 lithium ion battery,charger, and large carry bag.

I have a set of the tools. I love them. The best thing about them is the fact that you can find replacement batteries for them at a reasonable price.

 

the radio is awesome. it even has an aux outlet for an mp3 player. what's wrong with the dustbuster? that thing works great even on a regular nicad battery.

 

It can deliver 200 ft/lb? Wow. I've never been impressed with battery operated equipment, but that's pretty sweet.

 

Yep! The Professional 20v is claimed to put out 300ft.lbs! Once I saw that I was sold

 

great reviews guys! i have several of the c3 tool, jig saw, circular saw, drill, zaw saw and flashlight.....all the tools work great with the lithium ion battery...i want to get that impact driver! thanks for the letting me know about it....

 

I can't find anything marked as professional. However, I think we're still talking about the same 19.2V products??

btw, I saw they had a battery operated CAULK GUN.. how lazy can one be? LOL

 

i was reviewing the 19.2v stuff. it's MUCH cheaper than the 20v Craftsman Pro and works just fine. the 19.2v C3 line has quite a bit more tools 20v stuff too.

 

I've got the Lithium battery for the C3 line of tools - freakin great! Got the cordless drill, battery & charger for like $70. That's a steal compared to the $100+ Sears wants for the battery & charger alone. Battery lasts for freakin-ever! Also have the recip saw. Craftsman FTW.

i have the C3 1/2" impact wrench, 1/4" impact driver, the drill, the flashlight, 4 batteries, and 2 chargers...

they all work great for me when working on the truck and other household projects...

 

the cordless impact still impresses me. it's super handy, used it quite a bit this past weekend.

 

my friend has the c3 cordless and it couldn't take off a rusted bolt on his truck. he borrowed my snap on ct4850ho and it zipped right off. 200lbs is good for most applications but if you want heavy duty u gotta drop $$$.

Good to know the c3 line up is reliable. I would get one in a jiffy if ryobi ONE lithium series wasnt so darn cheap. Got 6 piece 18v lithium ion set including impact wrench for $250. There is also a $50 18v cordless impact sale going on right now.

Thank goodness all the companies are finally standardizing batteries!

 

Not so impressed now. It was used to compress some springs a few weekends ago. We used the rental strut compressor from the auto parts store. Impact wrench wasn't able to withstand the constant use. It now shuts itself down and won't bust loose anything.

 

That inflator seems like a good idea. I may replace my HF compressor with it when the HF dies. lol

 

Got a new one for christmas. I now think that I jacked up the batteries, the new one has the same issues as the old one I thought was messed up.
