S&B vs. AFE
What do you guys think? My buddy had AFE on his Chevy 1500, and it was quiet nice, now he's got a 2500 HD durmax with an S&B.

Trying to decided do I just go AFE CAI with their throttle body spacer, or go S&B and hunt for a throttle body spacer

Depends on if you think the Spacer will actually make any power....aFe makes the TRD
I used to work at AEM and they spent a lot of time and engineering determining if a throttle body spacer actually increased horsepower and they found it varied by application. Generally older engines benefited more than newer ones because due to stricter Cafe requirements and increased customer demand for more power the OE's have been paying more attention to details such as optimal plenum volume, which is what an after market spacer is supposed to give you. All that having been said AEM competed with aFe for the TRD intake contract and aFe won so they actually private label the intake for Toyota with all that in mind I would go that route.......or save my money for the supercharger!

How much do superchargers run?
