Aghhhh! You went with a yellow skid? I would have done yellow but my friend talked me into sticking with red :( I think yellow skids on a black truck would be sweet.

    if you consider that yellow . . . . . . .

looks like colors that would be splattered all over the wall in a late 80s dance club vip/drug room that got its inspiration from the neighboring, fully carpeted skate ring

Is that not yellow? Some colors blend together for me  I'm guessing it's a neon green or something then?

With the routing for the crossover delete I ended up cutting into my skids to fit the Transfer skid on. Not pretty but it'll do. Also managed to snap two drill bits because I wasn't being careful.

Yeah...It was a pain in the ass to cut with my little angle grinder...But it all fits. Gotta trim my LCA skids and get them on.

Got my skids. BEEFY. Quality work. (My hardware made it too). FYI, I noticed on the T-case skid, the exhaust cutout didn't have the welds finshed. This was probably on purpose, to allow some water drainage, and prevent rust occuring in that area. See pic with yellow ovals.

I went ahead and finished the weld beads in those 4 spots. I put mucho bedliner on the backside (undersurface) where the water/mud would accumulate. Since the under surface isn't a wear spot, whatever you roll spray there should stay and prevent rust issues.

Granted my weld bead shown isn't as pretty as the rest.

Didn't ask ANYTHING. Made comment. Said I thought the unfinished weld beads were purposeful (probably). Either way . . . I finished the welds myself, b/c I think the unfinished beads would still be a place for water/mud to start rusting process. My solution: finish the welds, and make sure the under surface is well coated with a rust proof finish.
