That's what I was thinking, but corner to corner the light is bigger. Kinda worried about that. Like I said just want to double check.

Pretty sad, completely forget how to do elementary school math to figure this out.

Yeah they fit Peter. D2 will fit in both the steel and aluminum cutouts. :)

On paper it looks like they dont quite fit with the diagonal measurement, but I've test fitted them and they do. I guess the rounded corners are what allows them to fit.

yeah when I drew them up it didn't work, then I tried figuring out the area and stuff. Oh it was terrible. Thanks for the confirmation Eric. Hoping to install the bumper next week some time. Cant wait.

LOL I just used some trig to figure out the diagonal measurement, but it comes out a little over the total ID of the tube (roughly 4.4" vs 4.25 ID). So on paper it looks larger, but you can hold a light inside the cutout with slight wiggle room. :)

I'm looking at your website and I'm wondering what a rotopax mount is?

Used for attaching a rotopax container onto flat surfaces, or built in mounts on my tire carrier swingouts/bed racks/etc

Ah ok. I'm also wondering if you can make the high clearance behind the license plate hitch "heavy duty".

Sorry I'm asking so many questions. I'm looking for a good rear bumper and at the moment I have nothing to do but surf the web while I get my weekly chemo.

The reason for the cost of the hidden hitch costing the same as the heavy duty under mount is because it includes the additional reinforcement standard in order to integrate the receiver tube behind the license. :)

So is it as strong as the heavy duty one?

Nice, now I just need to figure out how I'm going to get the $1200 so I can get the bumper with everything I want with it.

    None yet.
Eric, I'm still waiting on the last couple things for the rear bumper that we discussed on the phone. Please let me know when you can get this stuff shipped out to NC. I know you said it went out right after Thanksgiving but I still haven't seen it. Thanks.

I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone at the shop. Does anybody know if Eric and his crew are taking time off for the holidays?

We were off the 24-25th, and been very busy other than that. We are also off weekends. If you call, leave a message and someone will return your call ASAP. We have been in the shop working very hard to push out orders at record speeds, which sometimes leads to us not hearing the phone ring.

There are other means of contact as well, you can contact Eric via PM, and Email.

Lastly, this thread is a great way to make contact happen as (I) check it pretty much everyday.

We will be back in the shop at 8:30am-5:30pm pacific time Monday-Friday. If you do get the answering machine, please leave a reliable callback number, and time.

    Nathan.

Hey Nathan/Eric, I know my bumper is coming up real soon and I am starting to feel a bit nervous that the changes to my bumper will be overlooked even though I had called in the changes. So If you could please ease my nerves and confirm that what is being built for me matches this picture I posted (including the R's)...of course in Aluminum. Thanks for the confirmation. :)
