Seemed to be just the parts sitting a bit too long before being welded. we made sure the material on the new batch was spotless before assembly and welded immediately and the bumper came out just like they used to. Just a case of aluminum being more difficult to work with and the necessity of cleanliness when welding it.

I was on the fence between this bumper and a couple others, this sold me. Whats the wait time on a bumper these days?

you're still a couple pages down but we have a ton of material prepped right now. A bit backlogged but working on catching up the best we can. We should have the parts for your bumper cut any time now and from there it's just a matter of when we can get to them to weld/sand etc.

    Hey Eric,

With my new powder coated rear bumper on the way. I was wondering if you knew what the powder coat paint code is that your using ? I'm looking to send my front bumper out and wanted to get a good match from a local shop.

    Thanks ,

    Ryan

    Sure Preston

We've got parts for 18 sets of sliders are being finished right now and they'll get welded up ASAP. Then yours will go to powder coater. You're one of the first few sets to be completed, so they should be done very soon and then a matter of waiting on PC which may take up to 2 weeks or so based on how long turn around has been from their shop lately.

Yup. Problem is the guys usually do kickass work at the best price in town. But after how the service has been lately I definitely think a new shop may be in order. :skakeshead:
