How is using FedEx going to help with getting updates on whether or not your order has been shipped? Using FedEx would allow a tracking number apposed to Fastenal, but that would still require communication between the customer and company. I understand that the company is small, and the owner is doing his best as both fabricator and sales rep, but "ponying up extra cash" for something that shouldn't be required isn't really a great solution to a problem.

Most likely people would get even more pissed with the additional cost and the poor customer service. Just my 2 cents though.

Sundance, I feel your complaint is warranted, and hopefully will get attention, instead of getting past off. Such as the requests for order progress and many have made, or in my case a complaint based on the quality of an order that took over a year.

Not trying to create a shitstorm, just frustrating, when a company has a desired product, and don't treat their customers appropriately. This is of course based on the experiences seen in this forum, and my own experiences.

Hey man, glad to see your stuff is on the way, I am sure that's a great feeling, the bumper I ordered (through someone else) just hit the road too, so I am super stoked.

Once my stuff was shipped it took about two weeks, max 3 if I remember correctly. All in all wasn't bad at all considering I picked it up from bordering cities.

I had a phone message from Eric today. MY bumper is back from PC and ready to ship. I'll be calling him in the morning to set up the shipping.

Looks like things are "coming up milhouse".

Already tried that, and unless your name is Eric, that message wasn't for you.

So I went to Fastenal to pick up some bolts today and see if they could check on whereabouts of the bumper. IT IS HERE!!!! Shipped on 14th and arrived this morning so Fastenal can deliver fairly quickly some times. Will post some additional pics later.
