Priced some yakima crossbars but they wanted like $500 for the setup.:crazy: That was for the tracks, control towers, crossbars, and landing pads. Come on yakima thats a bit much.

So i started looking at the baja racks but they dont seem to be any more stout than the yakima megawarrior. I looked at a bunch of different racks and baskets etc but ultimately i want something aluminum, modular, and low profile. This brought me to the front runner and the prinsu.

Also Homer..... i contacted CBI and they said that they would not be able to make one for me because my fenders were already cut to high. I noticed yours is cut an inch or tow below the tail light where mine is right under the tail light. I got some stock metal and will be trying my hand at it this weekend.

I think I blame you but I'm really diggin the cooler mount over the spare on the rear bumper. There's a jeep local to me that has one and I stare in awe. When I get home from vaycay I'm checking out a used welder for sale, if I grab it no fucks given. I've got weld projects on weld projects on my mind.

How do you like your OME lift? Why or why not? Would you rather have king or icon setup set at 3" of lift?

I am running 886 coil overs in the front. I have the Dakar spribgs with the extra leaf and the nitro shocks in the rear. I also have my shackles flipped. I need to upgrade my rear shocks to longer ones though.

I really like the OME lift. But bear in mind a couple of things. 1- it is a more old school, rugged, setup. IT DOES NOT RIDE LIKE A CADI. It rides like a 4wd. 2-it is not adjustable the lift you get is what you get. You have to take into acount how you want it to ride, the amount of lift you want, how heavy your truck will be (loaded/unloaded), etc. if you have a rear bumper, a shell, a roof rack, front bumper, winch, full sized spare, underbody armor, hi lift, ect...... Then dont get the light weight spribgs. Or on the other end.... If your truck is bone stock don't get the HD expo spings and then Be surprised when your truck rides stiff. You have to evaluate what you want out of it because it doesn't have to capability of being adjusted. 3- it is a low maintenance system. You do not have to rebuild them, maintenance them, etc. Install it and forget it. I have not had any experience with the other more high end suspension but I'm sure they offer a more plush ride. I just have to go a little slower on the trails. But I am more interested in carriing capacity as I camo a lot out of mine.

    Hope that answered your question.

I think the ride is fine. It all personal preference. Im not going down the HWY chattering my teeth of but it does ride like a truck

I have done 2 trips to Colorado a trip to west Texas, Florida, NC, Georgia, and Tennessee..... sooo i have put some miles in the drivers seat. I have 46k on it in 18 months and got the suspension at 5 or 6 months in.

No prob dude. Sorry it took so long. Hope it works out. Every tailgate is different you may have to work with it a bit to get it to fit well. I made one for a buddy of mine and his was a little tight. Should bolt right up though
