It's a waste of time here to wash it every time it gets dirty. I used to wash my GTO and WRX every other week or so but it's hard to keep up with the truck in the winter.

 

Dude. Those base wheels look pretty rad in black!

 

This is why I got "pyrite mica"/brown. Always wanted a truck the color of dust.

My Husky Liners (X-act contour) front and rear, and Toyota bed mat arrived via Amazon today. I'm really impressed with all. The coverage and fit on those floor mats is excellent. Now I'm ready to take my posse (three sons) camping this weekend and not care what they get on their boots. It will be my first test of its hauling capacity as well. A friend with an F250 found a source of free firewood, asked me to take half of it so he's got room for his camping gear. Of course, half his bed will be, like, my whole bed... I'll probably be using my hitch haul cargo platform as well. We're headed to Colorado Bend State Park in central TX.

The water is so hard here that if I don't wax it or use a spray detailer afterwards the water spots will show even after hand drying it.

 

I got mine used so I didn't really have a choice, lol. The roof is starting to haze from the sun so I may paint it in a few years. It won't be black though. Right now I'm thinking of a matte gun metal.

 

Not worrying about water spots is one of my favorite things about owning a white truck.
