Had my slip slide shortened 1" due to larger axle and getting close to fully collapsed from the rear leafs. 85 for a shorten, greased all joints and balance. No one came close

Random question and I am sure all your trucks probably came with them. Should I keep an eye out for the stock trd bilstein shocks? Idk if they would make that much of a difference. Right now I am ride the stock black shocks, and I am talking about the yellow trd bilsteins. I saw a guy selling almost new on ig for like $150

 

I have some stock rear shocks if you want them for like 40 bucks.

 

I could be down. So do you think it will make a noticeable difference? I would have to see if he would part out his fronts. I feel like it would be weird only having the rear done. He had the 2 front shock and spring as well as the 2 rear for the $150.
P.S. I would try and talk him down, if he wont part out. lol

Stock Battery died today after 3 years. So you know what that means Upgrade time!

 

I love those batteries. Heavy. Give it a year or so until it rips the core support apart. #trucksthatactauallyoffroadproblems

 

I just threw all four of mine away like two weeks ago. They had 135k miles on them tho... And had to cut one off...

Is SOS concepts the only ones that have true no drill bolt on sliders?

Damn didn't even bother with them at first. There stuff is expensive but you pay for what you get. Might go this option now. Save on shipping. It says you have to drill tho if you want to use as slider.

 

I asked them few months ago if I can use a hi lift with their sliders and they said yes. I could do without drill the two extra holes. BTW their sliders was one of the less costly for bolt on and especially for DCLB 4x2 in my situation. BAMF said around Dec last year they are coming out with a true bolt on slider but nothing for my DCLB so I said fuck them. My choices was either SOS or Demello

 

Demello is looking $200 cheaper. I have 4xinnovation weld ons but should have went bolt on with the amount of wheeling I do. Just leave them in the shed when I'm not wheeling. I do that with my skid plates right now.

 

Yea. Demello has good shit but I know their shit is expensive so I didn't even bother to think about them. But I will most likely go demello when I go bolt on. Few months or so. Want to get UCAs, weathertech mats first.

 

The Husky exact liners are better the weathertech mats or liners. I had the weathertech before and thought the Husky had a better fit and finish. Covers the door sill and dead pedal better. I'm going for SOS sliders because I know a guy on TW is selling his for a good deal so I can't past it up.
