How do I clean my CAI filter?

    So last january i put in my volant CAI it came with a dry filter so whats the best way to clean it? Or do i need to buy a new one?

    Tide. Or use a dirtbike airfilter cleaner, such as UNI airfilter cleaner. Works great!

    Yeah, I was wondering the same thing....on AUTOANYTHING The description of the Volant CAI describes the filter as "oil-free PowerCore air filter" But then the description for the Volant cleaning kit says you should oil it every 10,000 miles. So do I just clean....or clean and apply oil???

    you can do a partial cleaning by tapping it on the ground and vacuming. I think a full cleaning is done by soaking it in a soapy water solution in a bucket. The water height should be low enough to not allow dirty water to enter over the top. Then take it out and soak in clean water.
